New machine, new install same "function has no attribute id"

Michael Van Der Beek

Hi Support,

Seriously this is way too complicated to get it to work. I’ve done this install 8 times now.

Every install has a different problem to get to a basic working state.

Even then every install still gives the same attribute ID.

Httpd log shows:

[[Mon Apr 28 17:28:07 2014] [error] [client 10.10.0.232] Error - <type 'exceptions.AttributeError'>: 'function' object has no attribute 'id', referer: Baruwa warning: numerical links are often malicious: http://27.96.104.59:8002/messages/detail/1

Celeryd log shows:

  raise self.exception_to_python(meta['result'])

AttributeError: 'function' object has no attribute 'id'

From the mailing list, this attribute ID problem has been around for many months. With no solution.

This has too many dependency for it to work.

What version of Centos does the install script work on? I’ve been using 6.5 64bit minimal install.

Was it tested on Centos 5.x?

Best regards,

The install script your using is not part of the official baruwa project. This is something i've developed over time. Your welcome to walk through the complete guide at baruwa.org.
