Yahoo : Headers are not RFC compliant

jeremymcs
Recently I've been getting complaints from clients who are getting bounced messages from Yahoo. So far this is the only domain I've seen. Is anyone else receiving these ?

Re: Yahoo : Headers are not RFC compliant

We're actually still dealing with it. Luckily our clients haven't said anything. I think it's some glitch with double processing in mail scanner though.

Re: Yahoo : Headers are not RFC compliant

Robert Lopez
Jerry,

Setting a lot of reports of this problem (2 Subjects in a reply
email). Telling users here work around now is do not reply to a Yahoo
address. Cut and paste into a new email.
They do not like it but it works. I also tell them to report the
problem to their contacts and ask them to report to Yahoo as a
customer.

Strip the invalid / duplicate headers prior to processing.

It is fixed in enterprise. Are you going to back port any of those fixes to the community edition?

It is an issue within MailScanner not baruwa, will try get some time to push it into
MailScanner proper on Github, since the enterprise MailScanner is a fork it requires
some time to do so.

Will do that when i get some space time, hands full at the moment.

Hi Andrew: How many files did you need to revise in MailScanner to eliminate this 'bug'? More than 1? And could you confirm whether the 'bug' is confined to replies only? Thanks, Norman.
