sphinx folder 27Gb

Raymond Norton
My sphinx folder is 27Gb on a 2 month old 2.0 scanner (Centos). I
might have missed something for maintaining the sphinx files, but not
finding what I am looking for.

Any ideas?

To clarify, is there a configuration change I can make to clean out old
files from the sphinx folder?

Sphinx is your search. You must have wildcard enabled.

Re: sphinx folder 27Gb

Raymond Norton
Right.. I did not knowingly enable wildcard. Changed  it to "enable_star = 0" and the folder dropped 12Gb in size.

Thank you!
